People said this is a pyramid was built almost 5000 years ago. This site near from jakarta, its only took around 3-4hour by car. Its really amazing the largest megalithic site in indonesia. First of all it is a bit of a drive through small towns and traffic but we made it to the foot of the climb. It is best to pay for the motorcycle ride up because when you see where it is you would die on the trip. After the experience was being taken there on motorcycles on narrow paths and bamboo bridges. Once there you can feel you are in a pre flood megalithic place that lends itself to the first structures on the planet by whom we don't know. The stones look cut and placed at places into a wall. Reminded me of Rockwell Texas where there is also a very early wall structure. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Old bund, Moon lake, and Science Exploration Center, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. That's all I covered with one night's stay there. It was an awesome trip. The Moon Lake is about a one-kilometer walking distance from Ningbo Railway Station. It was nice to watch the boats floating all around the lake paddling by the visitors. The Old Bund is awesome at night. The adjacent church is a must visiting spot. You can enjoy late-night drinking at any chosen bar among many with live music. Overall, I like the vibrancy of Ningbo🤗 #historicculture#urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel#springblossoms#lightthecity

Where to go for the Qing Ming Holiday?

Kezhi Garden

Kezhi Garden, 课植园, is a haven of peace and tranquility inside Zhujiajiao Old Town. I visited Zhujiajiao on Qingming Festival, and while most of the old town was packed, there were very few people inside the Kezhi Garden. Perhaps the nondescript entrance or the ¥20 admission kept visitors away, but for me it was a highlight of the whole trip. Built by the Ma family and dating in part to the Ming Dynasty, it includes classical gardens and buildings, a two storey library and a small farm, where the patriarch of the family encouraged his progeny to learn farming as well as scholarly activities so they would better understand the world and be able to enjoy the satisfaction of manual labour. The model farm was planted with bright yellow rapeseed and vegetables when I visited. Don't miss this hidden gem when visiting Zhujiajiao. #leaveyourmark #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #lightthecity #shanghai #garden #springflowers #peaceful #rest #historicallandmarks #classical #architecture

Sheshan Basilica

At the top of She Hill in Sheshan Park, Shanghai, stands the Basilica of Our Lady of Sheshan, a large Romanesque structure built in the 1920s (replacing an earlier church from 1863.) It is in the large Sheshan National Forest Park, a huge outdoor area in western Shanghai including an amusement park, resorts, a planetarium and other attractions. I visited on a Sunday which was both Qingming Festival and Easter Sunday, so it was predictably busy, but only the initial climb up the hill was really crowded. Avoid this set of stairs (leading from the entrance gate) and climb from the east side, which has a gentler ascent and the Stations of the Cross along the way. Enjoy the relatively fresh air, fine view and many trees as you walk around the park. You can take the metro to Sheshan Station, from which point there are free shuttles. I opted to walk and it took about an hour from the metro station to West Sheshan Park where the basilica is located. From this side you can also get a city bus to the line 17 station, from which point I continued to Zhujiajiao, which is only a few stations further along. #LeaveYourMark #qingmingtravel #lightthecity #urbanexplorer #shanghai #park #forest #china

Maribaya Glamping Tent

Waterfalls and hot springs: Maribaya Natural Hot Spring Resort. Well maintained nature resort. As a natural attraction its clean indeed and not so crowded on weekend which is rare in Indonesia. Maybe because the entry ticket price. There is some waterfalls eventhough its not amazing, well maybe it can considered as some river's flow only. Must try the private hot springs, the water temperature not so hot as in Ciater which is perfect to relax. When you go in, there's a food court on the right side with different kind of food stalls. Then we enter a tunnel bridge with beautiful view of the river. There was some souvenir stores in the left/right side of the Plaza. Overall a must try attraction in Lembang. #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Forest Park Conservation Area Tahura Ir. H. Juanda

I'm a regular visitor of Tahura. Tahura is a good place for working out in nature. You need to hike about 5km (from the parking area) to reach the top, and 5km more also to go back (total 10km). A good way to burn some calories, but if you're not a regular-exercising person, the trip will be very exhausting. There're some nice warungs on the top. Visit Warung Ibu Nani for its best Bala-Bala, or the Warung nasi timbel (at the end of the warung line) for its terrific fried fish! Walk 2km more and you will find Curug Omas. Tips: don't take the offers from local people at the Cave to take their flashlights for walking through the cave. You will be charged 20K for one flashlight! Just use your flashlight app on your phone. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Lembang makes for the perfect destination for mountaineers as it is situated on the highland of Bandung. So if you’re in search for the next adrenaline rush through height, then Batu Mount might just be the perfect choice for you. Just as the name suggests, Gunung Batu or the Stone Mountain is dominated with large rocky surfaces all the way to its top. As one of the tallest mountains in Lembang, you get to witness the unobstructed view of other surrounding mountains such as Tangkuban Perahu, Gunung Putri, Bukit Tunggul and Palasari. All of which enhance the vivid beauty of Mount Batu as a whole. It also makes for the best camping site to get your dose of sunrise. #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel

Stone and plants in the wild it would look natural, cover the area of the Stone Garden Padalarang. The scenery of this location is very good, where you will also see the vast expanse of hills, chalk white ones and brown the visible contrast with green trees. If the weather is sunny, then certainly enjoying the sunshine in the morning or afternoon from this place will be so exotic, where the sky is blue with white clouds it's on top of a stretch of green trees and limestone for documented with your camera. Here, you can find seashells embedded on the rocks – bizarre indeed! Since not many people know about this spot yet, make sure you bring your own water as there are no warungs open at the venue (as of now!). #urbanexplorer #qingmingtravel #urbanexplorer#qingmingtravel
