The advantage of self-driving is that if you have your own planned itinerary, it's super convenient to travel, and the scenery along the way is simply unbeatable 👍! However, a 5-hour drive can be a bit tiring, so if you're just going for a short 1-2 day trip, high-speed rail is also a great option. 🎈Itinerary: 👉Day one, Southeast Lake District→Tianyu Mountain Viewing Platform→Qilong Alley. 👉Day two, Beer Town→Lighthouse→Cycling around the lake→Return trip. 🎯Attraction Recommendations: ✨Bai Xiao Line: Wow, I've been longing for this for 2 years, and every time I go, I must drive on this route. Even if I have to detour around half of Qiandao Lake from the hotel, it's definitely worth the trip. The hairpin bends, the beautiful scenery along the lake, and the dense forest on one side, I can say without exaggeration that after driving all over Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, the Bai Xiao Line's scenery and driving experience can definitely rank in the top three 👏! ✨Dayu Mountain Viewing Platform: You can drive to the top of the mountain for free, and in addition to overlooking the entire panorama of Qiandao Lake, the metasequoia forest on the mountain road is also incredibly beautiful 😘. ✨Heyi Harbor: If you like sports and water activities, this harbor located in the southeast corner of Qiandao Lake is just perfect for kayaking and surfing. Boating on the sparkling water, if there are more people, you can also rent a yacht together and leisurely spend a day 🤩. ✨Tianchi Island: You can visit the Hundred-Year Bridge, Plum Blossom Piles, and Tianchi Fish Viewing. The koi there are plump, and you can see a small waterfall. You must walk across the Hundred-Year Bridge 🎢! ✨Huangshan Jian: This is the scenic postcard of Qiandao Lake. The "The World is for the Public" panoramic view of Qiandao Lake is taken from this island. You can choose to go up, 50 yuan for a round trip! The inner circle is easier to ride, as there are too many vehicles near the road outside. I suggest that those who want to cycle should rent a single bike. 🏨Accommodation: The four trips were spent staying in the northwest and southeast directions of Qiandao Lake. The northwest corner is more commercialized and mature, mostly high-end chain hotels and homestays. If you are on a family trip and want to feel the holiday atmosphere, you can consider this area. But the scenery in the southeast direction is more exquisite and tranquil, and there are also a few private boutique homestays with excellent lake views. 🍽Dining and others: When you come to Qiandao Lake, of course, you have to try the fish head soup.
