Qiandao Lake's Exquisite Island Heart Resort | A Vacation Hotel That Exclusively Occupies a Small Island

I can't believe this is my second trip to Qiandao Lake this year, and this time I visited the cozy Warm Island located at the eastern end of the Qiandao Lake area. Qiandao Lake Scenic Area - Warm Island is a highly developed vacation islet in the central lake area of Qiandao Lake, blessed with unique natural lake views and accessible sandy beaches. The island is surrounded by numerous harbors, clear waters, distant green mountains, and is brimming with greenery. Actually, there are just two resort hotels on the island. The Qiandao Lake Warm Island Butterfly Lakeview Resort Hotel is situated at the southern tip of Warm Island, completely embodying the island resort village concept. The hotel has almost everything, even an accessible sandy beach, but it seems to have been in operation for quite some time and looks somewhat outdated. The other, Qiandao Lake Warm Island Elegant Art Hotel, is located at the northwest corner of the island and appears to have been renovated, looking more in line with the aesthetic preferences of younger people and adding many elements popular for photo opportunities. The hotel's Instagram-famous Sunset Café is a favorite spot for many day-trippers. Warm Island is not accessible by car directly; there is a pontoon bridge connecting it to the outside world. Visitors can park their cars at the parking lot on one side of the pontoon bridge and then take the hotel's electric cart to the respective hotel. The entire Warm Island is actually quite small, just a five or six-minute walk across. Both hotels are built by the water, offering pleasant environments and tranquility. In terms of location and perspective, the east side of the Butterfly Lakeview Resort Hotel is more suitable for watching the sunrise, while the west side of the Elegant Art Hotel is more suitable for watching the sunset. However, overall, since it is located at the eastern end of Qiandao Lake, there are more mountains and man-made structures blocking the view to the east of Warm Island, while the west offers an endless lake view, with islands scattered like stars across the sky, making this island more suitable for sunset viewing. You don't necessarily have to stay at the hotel or spend money at the café; you can see the stunningly gorgeous sunset for free from the shore in front of the Elegant Art Hotel. Of course, if time and budget allow, it is still recommended to stay on the island for a night to experience the slow life of the small island. Walking around the island in the early morning, feeling the quietness of eagles soaring and fish leaping, insects chirping and birds calling, is very CHILL.
