Ballooning Canterbury

first hot air balloon experience. super friendly and nice pilot who flew us up the hot air balloon. magnificent view of Christchurch and the mountains around. but do be prepared to get yourself involved in some workout and get yourself dirty as you might be asked to help to keep the balloon after the ride as the grasses and soil are still wet due to the dews in the morning. early morning drive, around 5am, to the location is required also as to catch the sunrise. so be prepared to drive in the dark if you are staying at Christchurch. but, it’s totally worth it when you get to see the view from up there. and #fallingforfall but it’s spring time in New Zealand. #hotairballoon #ballooningcanterbury #newzealand #southnewzealand
