Staying at a Cloud Hotel with Kids Feels Like Home Again

This was my first time bringing my kids back to Chongqing, and our first stop was the Ascott Raffles City Chongqing! It’s already my nth time staying at an Ascott property!        This time, we booked their family-friendly room, and it was truly a pleasant surprise!     🏨 Location: Prime spot with super convenient access The hotel is directly connected to Chongqing’s landmark "Raffles City" with its iconic "Sailing" architecture. Just head downstairs, and you’re in the shopping mall! A 5-minute taxi ride from Jiefangbei or a 10-15 minute walk to Hongya Cave and the Yangtze River Cableway. The night views are stunning! 🌸 Family Room There’s a dedicated family floor with themed rooms! The entire floor is adorably decorated, and the rooms are spacious, perfect for families with kids!       We booked the Ultraman-themed room, and my child loved it! Every detail in the room was filled with Ultraman elements—play mats, a mini tent, plush toys, and children’s books neatly arranged. Even the slippers, toothbrushes, bathrobes, towels, and floor mats were Ultraman-themed.         The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and a fridge, making it easy for families to prepare baby food or warm milk, just like at home. 🏨 Fun Facilities: There’s a dedicated kids’ play area on the first floor—perfect for letting the little ones burn off energy! 🏊🏻‍♀️ Heated Pool Includes a special children’s splash zone Gym & Yoga Room: Parents can sneak in some relaxation time while traveling with kids 🥢 Dining The breakfast spread was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, plus Chongqing’s famous noodles! The bar at the Crystal Skywalk offers a great ambiance with views of the confluence of the two rivers. Next time we travel with the kids, a hotel-style 🏨 apartment is definitely the way to go—so much more convenient!
