Folks, as a frequent traveler, I had to check out the newly opened Conrad Hotel under Hilton during my trip to Chongqing to experience the legendary "Oriental Suspended City." She also gave a thorough introduction to the hotel. Such professionalism deserves a thumbs-up! That said, the hotel entrance is quite small and looks a bit chaotic with the crowd. But the concierge staff did a decent job. While not quite up to luxury brand standards yet, they’re clearly putting in the effort. I stayed in a Cloud Riverside View Room with a bathtub by the window. Booked through a certain program, it included a $100 dining credit, perfect for hosting friends. At the lobby, Front Office Manager Richard warmly welcomed me, saying the hotel had prepared in advance—talk about making a great first impression! The front desk guy was also super professional, explaining everything clearly and even escorting me to the elevator. Attention to detail on point! The welcome amenity in the room was next-level: chocolates, Napoleon cake, berries, and glass-bottled Evian water. Now *this* is what luxury should feel like! The room hardware was impeccable too—TOTO fixtures, marble finishes, custom leather coffee machine, smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer. Chongqing’s hotel market is seriously competitive! Outside the window, the river and mountain views peeked through the mist like a painting. I truly felt the charm of the "Oriental Suspended City." I paid extra for executive lounge access. The lounge had long hours, a great drink selection, and tasty afternoon tea and evening HH dishes. The staff stayed professional even during the holiday rush—major props! As for breakfast, the live Chinese cooking stations were on point, but the Western-style Eggs Benedict fell short (maybe due to peak hours). Still, the staff did a great job managing queues and easing guest anxiety—nice touch! Location-wise, I thought it was great. Some might complain, but I found it cleverly tucked away, giving a "hidden in the city yet observing the world" vibe. At 300 meters high, the views are stunning—facing the mountains, overlooking the water, and gazing at the Yuzhong Peninsula. Absolutely amazing! Overall, I could sense the hotel management team’s dedication. Being newly opened, it needs some polishing, but the service standard is already high. I’d definitely recommend it to friends!
