| A Healing Journey to Embrace Nature. Today, I'm sharing my awesome one-day tour of Wulong, Chongqing. I joined a small, all-inclusive group, and it was so comfortable! 🚗 Transportation: I chose a small group because I didn't want to be restricted by a large tour group. Small groups mean fewer people and more freedom. We chatted and laughed along the way, creating a great atmosphere. Plus, the tour guide was able to take care of everyone, making the experience even better! 🎈 Itinerary: We set off in the morning, and our first stop was the spectacular Three Natural Bridges, where scenes from "Curse of the Golden Flower" and "Transformers 4" were filmed. Stepping into the scenic area, the huge stone bridges stood before us, as if we had traveled into the fantasy world of the movies. The opening hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and the ticket + shuttle bus costs around CNY 125. Next, we went to Longshui Gorge, with its deep valleys, steep cliffs, flying waterfalls, and flowing springs. Walking on the plank road and admiring nature's ingenious craftsmanship was truly amazing. The opening hours here are similar to those of the Three Natural Bridges, and the ticket + shuttle bus costs around CNY 115. In the afternoon, we headed to Fairy Mountain, with its alpine meadows and dense forests, like a scene from a Miyazaki anime. You can fly kites and ride horses here, which is super pleasant. The opening hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and the ticket costs CNY 50. On the way back, we also visited the Wujiang Gallery Cliff Viewing Platform. The afterglow sprinkled on the Wujiang River, sparkling and beautiful beyond words! 🍱 Food Recommendations: Be sure to try the bowl of mutton. The fresh and tender mutton is stewed until it's soft, delicious, and flavorful. Served with rice, it's incredibly delicious. There's also the goat horn dried tofu, which has a delicate and chewy texture, salty and delicious, and great as a snack! The "Wulong Special Home Cooking Restaurant" in town is affordable and has generous portions. The signature fatty intestine fish is a must-order! 🏠 Accommodation Recommendations: If you have a sufficient budget, you can choose a resort hotel on Fairy Mountain, where you can push open the window to see the beautiful scenery and watch the stars at night. If you're looking for value for money, the B&Bs in Wulong are also good, and it's convenient to get around and eat. 💡 Money-Saving Tips and Advice: 1. Book tickets and small groups online in advance, as there are sometimes discount packages. 2. You can bargain for the horse riding at Fairy Mountain. 3. Don't buy local products at the entrance of the scenic area. The prices are high and the quality may not be good. It's more cost-effective to buy them at the supermarket in the city. 🧚‍♀️ This one-day tour of Wulong has magnificent sinkholes and crevices, vast Fairy Mountain meadows, and the stunning scenery of the Wujiang Gallery.
