Chongqing Jiulongpo District Hidden Gem: Ba People Museum, Perfect for Photos, Family Activities, and Weekend Getaways!

Chongqing is a globally renowned tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. Today, we recommend a lesser-known museum: the Ba People Museum. It is easily accessible by multiple bus routes or by car with convenient parking. The museum offers free admission and is well-equipped with facilities, surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and parks. The Ba People Museum consists of two halls located on either side of the city wall, with different exhibition layouts but similar contents. It introduces the origin of Dongzhuanba in Jiulongpo District and displays artifacts unearthed during excavations, such as jars and bronze knives, with a special exhibit of boat coffins, one in each hall. The museum also features a reading room with books mainly for children, often visited by students from various schools. It is an excellent spot for photos, sightseeing, and leisure activities.
