Dreeya Hotel: A Journey Through Retro Chinese Aesthetics

Hi, everyone! Today, I want to share my experience staying at the Dreeya Designer Hotel in Chongqing’s retro Sino-British Street near Jiefangbei. That day, my friends and I met up in Chongqing, soaking in the city’s unique charm, enjoying authentic hot pot and noodles, and strolling around Daijia Alley Park nearby. It was a day that left us completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. Aesthetic Spaces Blending Retro and Romantic Walking into Dreeya Hotel, it felt like we’ve stepping into another time and space. Every design detail radiates the rich ambiance of retro Southeast Asian style. The rooms’ décor were cozy yet sophisticated. The large windows were particularly stunning, offering sweeping views of the Yangtze River that made us feel like we were part of a living painting. My friends and I were thrilled with the afternoon tea, fresh fruit, and snacks thoughtfully prepared for us. Even the small decorative items in the room exuded elegance. A Green Oasis in the City The hotel skillfully incorporates greenery throughout its spaces, from the 15th-floor lobby to the 18th floor. Every corner carries a refreshing touch of nature. My favorite was the retro film set-style area in the lobby, which transforms into a magical scene when lit up at night, like a moment straight out of a movie. Standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows and gazing at Chongqing’s neon-lit nightscape filled me with endless hope for the future. A Warm Haven Away from Home Though far from home, Dreeya Hotel gave us a comforting sense of belonging. From the carefully selected furniture in the rooms to the attentive and warm service from the staff, everything made our stay delightful. Mornings were particularly magical—waking up to see the rising sun reflecting off the rippling waters of the Yangtze River swept away all of our worries. An Ideal Starting Point to Explore the City One of the main reasons for choosing Dreeya Hotel was its excellent location. It’s the perfect base for exploring Chongqing—just a short walk to famous spots like Eighteen Ladder, Hongyadong. Or we could stroll to nearby Jiefangbei and Global Mall to do some shopping or enjoy some entertainment. Plus, we discovered several historical and cultural landmarks just waiting to be explored. Overall, our stay at Dreeya Hotel was truly fantastic. If you’re planning a trip to Chongqing, I highly recommend considering this hotel—it’s bound to add vibrance to your journey!
