Chongqing Mountain City Trail | A city in the mountains, mountains in the city

🌉 The Mountain City Trail was one of our favorite attractions in Chongqing. The alleyways are a great representation of the old mountain city, and there are many unique shops like Weilu Tea and Mountain City Noodles. You can also overlook the river and the opposite bank from the alleyways, which makes for great photos. 📍Tour direction: I recommend taking a taxi to "Consulate Alley" and entering from there. It's all downhill from there, so it's not tiring, and you can tour in the opposite direction of most tourists and groups. 📷 Photo tips: 1️⃣ The Weilu Tea shop is a great place to take photos. Take photos of the lady making tea and serving melon seeds, and the diners sitting around the tea table chatting and laughing. It's very lively, and you can use the lanterns as a foreground. 2️⃣ The Mountain City Time Library is a great place to take photos. You can take fresh photos in the classroom and on the playground. 3️⃣ You can see the river and the buildings on the opposite bank from the cliffside boardwalk. The lanterns are very festive, and it's a great place to take photos of people. 📝 In short, the Mountain City Trail is a relaxing and enjoyable place to visit. There's also a little surprise: a dog named Laifu often lies next to the church, and the comic graffiti in the alleyways is all about him. It's very heartwarming. 🌉 Overall, I highly recommend the Mountain City Trail. Compared to Shibati and E'ling No. 2 Factory, it reflects the architectural style of Chongqing and is very lively. I recommend spending half a day here.
