The overall style is Chinese/Japanese, and the decor is very photogenic! The room has a private bath, and it's super relaxing to drink tea, eat fruit, and soak in the hot spring. You can take a taxi to the homestay, but you will need to walk about 200 meters down the mountain to get there. Be careful on rainy days, as the road can be slippery. The price is over 900 per night, and you can request a room upgrade if there are vacancies. The room rate includes breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea, and tea by the stove (p12-18). The owner will arrange the meals, and will ask about any dietary restrictions in advance. You can also tell the owner what you want to eat in advance. Afternoon tea and breakfast can be delivered to your room, which is great for lazy people. 🌟But there are some minor drawbacks! 1⃣️It's very cold in the mountains at night in winter, especially on rainy and foggy days! The air conditioning in the room is not very effective, so we added two heaters and an electric blanket. There are not enough outlets, with only one on each side of the bed. You can't charge your phone and use the electric blanket at the same time. 2⃣️The hot spring water is not very hot! It takes a long time to fill the bath, usually more than an hour. The water is hotter during the day, but it gets colder the longer you soak at night. The room is cold, so the water cools down faster. We used a kettle to add hot water, but it would be nice if the system could be improved. 3⃣️Be careful if you're afraid of dogs! There is a free-range dog that doesn't bite, but barks a lot. It's a little scary, so it's best to let the owner know in advance if you want to visit. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience! It's great to relax after a busy period!
