💁‍♀️Before you go: Chongqing is a city of stairs! But its rich history is irresistible. So, I picked a day to explore the city by subway and bus, with consulate sites as the theme. 🗺️The consulates I visited are relatively close to each other, and can be visited in one afternoon. They are mainly located near E'ling Park and Jiaochangkou Subway Station. 1️⃣ Former French Consulate 📍No. 31, Fenghuangtai, Yuzhong District 🚇 Subway Line 1 - Jiaochangkou Station: Exit 4, walk down the stairs for 500 meters 👣 Nearby attractions: Shibati, No. 33 Fenghuangtai Stone Gate 2️⃣ Former US Embassy 📍No. 1, Jiankang Road, Lianglukou Street, Yuzhong District 🚌 Take Bus 120 from the "Former French Consulate" to "Caiyuanba" Station 😭 I still couldn't avoid the stairs! The "Jianxingpo Stairs" made me want to cry! The end of the stairs is the entrance to the subway station... 👣 Nearby attractions: Zhang Guofu Martyr Monument, Jianxingpo Market 3️⃣ Former Turkish Legation 📍E'ling Park 🚌 Take Bus 829 from the "Former US Embassy" to "E'ling Park" Station 😄 This bus route is very characteristic of Chongqing, and worth enjoying! 👣 Nearby attractions: E'ling Park, Testbed 2 4️⃣ Former Australian Legation 📍E'ling Park ❤️ There is a detailed introduction to the Australian Legation, which is a small museum that you can visit.
