Highly recommended! Visit Wulong Karst before leaving Chongqing. 👀 A 5A-level scenic area is truly unique! The best part is that there aren't too many tourists. We drove over 10,000 km, and Wulong exceeded our expectations. ❤️ The full name is "Wulong Karst Scenic Area," located about 195 km east of downtown Chongqing in Wulong County. The scenic area mainly consists of two core attractions: Tiankeng (Three Natural Bridges) and Difeng (Longshuixia Fissure Gorge). We recommend visiting both, which will take a full day. 🌳 Tiankeng: Magnificent and rugged, it has been the filming location for many Zhang Yimou films and Western blockbusters, making it very famous. The entire route is downhill stairs, so you won't feel tired. 🌳 Difeng: My friends and I, as well as other tourists, all agreed that Difeng is "more interesting." Each section of the route has its own unique features, some of which are like "half-hidden beauties," waiting to be discovered. Although the stairs in Difeng are not easier than those in Tiankeng, they are more entertaining. 🌼 Practical tips: 🌱 There are few dining facilities in the scenic area, so it's best to bring some food and water. 🌱 In summer, bring a raincoat, shoe covers, or waterproof shoes to Difeng, as there are waterfalls and streams, and the ground may be slippery. 🌱 After visiting Tiankeng, you can choose to pay CNY 15 per person to take an electric car back to the Tiankeng exit. If you're not tired, you can also walk and try some local snacks at the small shops. 🌱 We recommend visiting Tiankeng first and then Difeng for a more interesting experience. 🌱 Tour route: Scenic Area Visitor Center - Take a bus to Tiankeng - Take an elevator to visit Tiankeng - Walk or take an electric car for 15 minutes to the Tiankeng exit - Take a bus to Difeng - Visit Difeng - Take a bus back to the Visitor Center. The entire tour takes about 3–4 hours.
