The Chongqing Provisional Government was the last building of the Provisional Government that was used until the Republic of Korea gained independence from Japan. It is still not that large, but it is incomparable to the Shanghai Provisional Government era, and it has a decent size with the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and even a reception room for foreign guests. It is a very meaningful place, at least for Koreans, where we can once again reflect on our ancestors' will for independence. It is currently maintained by volunteers due to insufficient government support, so it is a place that many Koreans need to visit. A nation that forgets its history has no future.
