I arrived at Laojun Cave around 2 pm and descended the mountain around 5 pm. I've been there a few times, so we didn't revisit many places. Next to Laojun Cave is the Nanshan Botanical Garden and the One Tree viewing platform (great for night views). Drinking water: Prepare water in advance, as it's hard to find places selling water on the mountain. It's recommended to bring your own. Dress: Shoes must be comfortable!! Around 8-9 am, there's a market on Shangxin Street Old Street where you can find many interesting old things like bamboo sieves. It brings back the taste of childhood.
