Secret Japanese restaurant in the heart of Bangsaen

Yotsuba Home Cooking, a hidden gem of Japanese home-style cooking 🎌, is now open at night! Yayyy! 😆 This cozy little restaurant is not well-known, but let me tell you, it's one of my favorite Japanese home-style cafes. The mini-mall space is warm and inviting, and the menu is not like your typical Japanese restaurant. They serve a hard-to-find dish in Chonburi, called Ochazuke (pronounced as "oh-cha-su-ke"), which is a traditional Japanese dish of pouring soup over rice. It's like the comfort food we have at home. They offer several soup options, but the newest addition to the menu is perfect for hot weather, which is the 🍲Cold Ochazuke, a refreshing dish of rice in dashi soup topped with pickled vegetables, seaweed, and wasabi. It's so beautiful, fresh, and delicious! Another must-try dish is the 🍲Seafood Claypot Rice, a new menu item that comes in a large bowl with hot soup and a variety of seafood, including hotate (scallops), maguro (tuna), and salmon. It's perfect for two people and only available for dinner. For meat lovers, I highly recommend the 🥩Australian Ribeye Steak Japanese-style, served with red wine sauce and shichimi (Japanese seven-spice powder), and paired with shiitake mushrooms. It's simply divine! Don't miss out on their marinated tomato soup, which is only available in limited quantities. It's marinated for 24 hours and served as a snack. For fried food lovers, they offer a variety of dishes, including fried beef, pork, enoki mushrooms, hotate, and gomawakame cheese, served with salt or tare sauce. They are all so delicious! And if you're looking for a refreshing drink, try their Yuzushu. It's one of my favorites!
