Wajiratan Falls, Thailand's highest peak, Mount Thainnon

#ThailandAttractions Wajiratan is a waterfall in Zongtong District, Chiang Mai. It is located on the only way to Mount Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand with an altitude of 2565 meters, about 27 kilometers from the top of the mountain. It is one of the most impressive of all waterfalls in Chiang Mai. With a deafening sound, the majestic waterfall rushes down from a height of 80 meters through layers of rocks. The water vapor from the waterfall forms a mist around it, making it a picturesque sight. The water flowing down from the Vajratan Falls forms a huge pool where you can swim if you wish. However, the surrounding rocks over which the waterfall flows can be slippery and this requires caution. There are still many trees in the surrounding area, and visitors can rest under the shade of the trees or enjoy the beauty of the waterfall.
