Nepal | Nepal's First National Park | Chitwan National Forest Park

Chitwan National Forest Park, located near Kathmandu, is vast in area and is Nepal's first national park. Initially established to protect the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, it now hosts over 50 species of mammals and 525 species of birds. The scenery is pleasant, the air is fresh, and it's incredibly healing. Lucky enough to spot two one-horned rhinoceroses, three or four peacocks in courtship, a white-throated munia basking in the sun on a tree, a family of spotted deer out foraging, as well as various unidentified birds. There were also crocodiles, wild boars, pheasants, egrets, etc., that didn't make it into the frame; you can either take a boat to visit Chitwan National Forest Park or walk to enjoy the experience, which is excellent.
