Japan Travel Noboribetsu Shikotsu-Toya National Park

The name Shikotsu-Toya comes from the Shikotsu River and Toya River that flow through the area. It is characterized by many lakes, volcanoes, and hot springs. It was designated as a national park on May 16, 1949. The area is 994.73 km2.
