Falling for Chicago's Colors
Chicago is a place with just so much to offer-- from the its magnificent architecture, limitless museums, gastronomic feast, all of which are made exciting and a unique experience with the changing of the season.
Fall ushers the vibrant and colorful transition to the long and cold Chicago Winter. This transition is seen in the city's outdoor coming alive with people visiting the parks and partake in some good old activities such as food bazzars and street concerts or simply admire the various shades of red to orange and yellow foliage.
Millennium Park is perhaps the most popular place to visit as the park is lined up and has varieties of trees despite being in the urban jungle dominated by the towering Chicago skyline. It is also due to its central location and close proximity to The Magnificent Mile, travelers will never run out of activities to do, from picnics to visiting museum, shopping and dining, and many countless options just like the colors defining this time of the year.
And then comes Winter!

Millennium Park - Chicago
#passionpassport
Daley, Millennium Park is the largest public space within the 319 acres of downtown Chicago's Grant Park. It was established in 2004 and is now one of the biggest free attractions of the city, rivaling only the Lincoln Park Zoo. That's mostly because of its popular "Bean" installation, Cloud Gate. The Millennium Parking Garages and a railroad yard can be found underneath Millennium Park, making it one of the largest green roofs in the world. The park was originally supposed to be 16 acres, which is 8.5 acres smaller than what it actually is. Millennium Park is Chicago's second most visited tourist attraction. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations

Lovely walk through the Windy City
Chicago is a joy to walk through especially in the warm summer months. The fact that there is so much variation in the cityscape makes it especially enjoyable.
You can wander through Millennium Park with its iconic bean structure. Then head out for some deep dish Chicago pizza. Afterwards you can marvel at the skyscrapers of the city along the river, before making your way to the lake. Also remember to visit one of the many museums of the city!

Willis Tower was once the world's tallest building, and although the first name is no longer there, the Willis Tower is still the brightest point in the Chicago skyline and the best place to see Chicago.
Take the elevator for 70 seconds to reach the 103-story Skyscraper, overlooking Chicago's dense skyline, Lake Michigan, and Chicago's checkerboard streets. The night view of Chicago is worth seeing because it is the city with the most skyscrapers in the United States, and it is also a city where rare streets are so neatly distributed.
The most special thing here is its skydeck, where there are four glass balcony boxes that extend beyond the building. People stand in the glass box, all around is completely transparent, very exciting, you can stand in the glass box Inside, look down on the city under the 103rd floor, or even sit and lie on the glass balcony, you are not bold enough!
Transportation: The subway can take the subway orange line, brown line, pink line, purple line to get off at Quincy/Wells station.
fare: adult ticket (12 years old and above) 19.5 US dollars, children (3-11 years old) 12.5 US dollars

The Art Institute of Chicago Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Visit The Art Institute of Chicago
A perfect place to explore in a cold snowy day. Located very close to Millenium Park.
The Highlights of this place were definitely the Van Gogh exhibits, specifically the self portrait. The other favourite was the Miniature Rooms exhibits at LL.
General admission was $25 per person and free admission for below 14 years. What an awesome deal.
The galleries were beautifully presented.

Chicago is home to world-class attractions for arts and culture, and on the top of that list is the Art Institute of Chicago! This impressive Chicago museum located in Grant Park is one of the largest and oldest art museums in the world, and is also one of the best things to do in Chicago.
Famous works like The Bedroom by Vincent van Gogh, American Gothic by Grant Wood, and so many others can be found here. The diverse collection spans centuries, different art periods and styles, and even geography.
the Art Institute is actually the second-largest art museum in America. It features three floors, 264,000 total square feet, and countless wings of special exhibitions and galleries.
In addition to the museum’s expansive permanent collection, special exhibits are always rotating. Public events take place here often, too. The Art Institute is also home to the Ryerson & Burnham Library, which has a large and impressive collection for research.

An art tour, the Chicago Art Museum
Millennium Park, is the 100-year-old art museum. The museum was built in 1879 and officially opened in 1893. With a total area of about 90,000 square meters and a collection of about 300,000 pieces of art, it is the second largest art museum in the United States. The two big lions at the doorway feel like art.
This world-class art museum brings together the essence of human creativity for the past 40 centuries. It houses a large collection of exhibits, mainly Greek, Roman, European and American art. It also collects art from India, Nanyang, China, Japan, Korea, Africa and the Americas. Perhaps the most famous is the works of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masters as well as American art. If you want to go shopping, maybe its not enough for a whole day,
Belarusian French painter Marc Chagall (1887-1985), "America Windows", created in In 1977, it was a dream, and it was my favorite painting.
Tips
1. Permanent collections and special photos are allowed in the museum. Most personal photos are not for commercial use. Some special works of art or exhibits are not allowed to take pictures. Do not use flash, tripod and camera when taking pictures. Please follow the rules in the library.
2. You can use the free handbags provided in the museum for valuables, and large bags need to be stored.
3. Please mute your phone in the museum and don't bother others to watch the show.

Chicago Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Welcome to Chicago!
Overview of this magnificent city:
“Chicago is located in the Midwest along the Great Lakes shoreline. It is the third largest city and metropolitan area in the United States with a city population approaching 3 million and a metro population approaching 10 million. Chicago is a huge vibrant city and metropolitan area that sprawls over 10,874km². ”
During my lovely time in Chicago, here’s what I did:
Millenium Park, The Bean, The Loop, Architecture cruise (100% worth it), ghosts tour (Chicago is known for its many ghost stories). I also checked out The Green Mill (Al Capone’s old hangout bar). I was mostly walking around enjoying Chicago’s beauty!
Restaurants- I found some nice pubs near the river but my favorite was by far Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza!! There was a long wait but it was well worth it in my opinion.
Have a blast in Chicago!

Chicago Museum
It was like taking a tour of whole century in an hour. I have read about the slavery system in America but walking through this museum, there were times when I had to hold back my tears. So, if you are looking for something educational and historical, go for it!
Plus, there is a surprise in it! Do press the 'Don't Press' Button, near the Mayor section. The robot in it, is so amazing, that we almost thought that was the real person.

Is the airport or art gallery? Silly points are not clear
When you leave, you will be shocked by the city's airport. From the 1960s to the end of the 1990s, Chicago O'Hare Airport has been the world's largest passenger airport. At present, O'Hare is still the airport with the most number of take-offs and landings in the world.
It is said to be the most artistic airport in the United States, 5 terminals, this airport is also the world famous "art airport", you can enjoy various sculptures, paintings, murals and exhibits at the airport, 2 The large dinosaur in the terminal overlooks all the passengers. The passage to Terminal 3 is a famous rainbow passage. The colored lights are flashing and very romantic. Strolling here, my heart seems to have slowed down, as if I was not coming to catch a plane, but to see an art exhibition. Although the surrounding passengers are in a hurry, I see that they will stop from time to time and enjoy the art around.
There are about 138 restaurants, cafes and bars in the country, covering a wide range of cuisines that cater to anyone's dietary needs. The ICE Dishes and Drinks Bar, located in Terminal 3, was named "one of the best airport bars in the world" by Executive Travel Magazine. After the security check, I was hungry. I walked into a shop, ordered a cup of coffee, and spent the last time in Chicago leisurely. It was a perfect ending to the journey.
Tips
Address: 10000 W O'Hare Ave
Chicago is the third largest city in the United States and the home of the world's skyscrapers. The number of high-rise buildings is second only to New York. At night, the towering skyscrapers are lit, and the skyline of the city's central area is beautiful and patchy. The night view of Chicago could be said to be the most beautiful in the United States. At night, a skyscraper was brightly lit and outlined the majestic skyline. The pointed roof of the tall building shines like a searchlight. On the streets of Chicago, there are old and new buildings with different shapes.
Time: Chicago sees the best night scenes, but the time is short, the most beautiful moment around five o'clock
