Strawberry picking in Chiba

#Spring0yentrip I went strawberry picking at Furuwaya Farm in Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture! It's easily accessible from Tokyo, and you can just drop in by train. It's a small farm with a homey atmosphere, and I enjoyed picking strawberries at my own pace. On this day, I was able to compare four varieties of strawberries: Yayoihime, Kahorino, Benihoppe, and Starlight. Each has a different taste, aroma, and texture, so you can enjoy each one carefully. All varieties are fully ripe and sweet, and have a glossy appearance. The sweet and sour taste of Benihoppe is especially addictive! The strawberries grow low, so you have to bend down to pick them. It's recommended to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The greenhouse has a quiet and calm atmosphere. After receiving a brief explanation at the reception, you can pick and eat them freely without any staff escorts. The best thing about it is that you can enjoy it at your own pace without any hesitation. By the way, condensed milk was not provided, but there was no information on whether it was OK to bring it, so if you are concerned, it might be a good idea to inquire in advance. It was sweet and delicious enough as it was, so I was very satisfied even without condensed milk.
