[One-day trip to museums] A luxurious time with nature and realism

Visiting the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum and the Hoki Museum I took a luxurious one-day art trip to visit two unique museums in Chiba Prefecture, the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum and the Hoki Museum. Morning 🕛 Visit the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum (Sakura City) First, we went to the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum in Sakura City. The museum quietly stands in a vast area full of greenery. Unfortunately, the exhibition inside the museum will end in March 2025, but part of the garden area has been reopened and you can enjoy a nature walk. Afternoon 🕛 Arrived at the Hoki Museum (Midori Ward, Chiba City)! In the afternoon, we drove south to the Hoki Museum. You will be overwhelmed by the futuristic architecture that suddenly appears in the forest. The corridor-style exhibition space features works by Japan's leading realist painters. In both museums, we enjoyed walking around the buildings and nature outside the museum.
