Activity Tips After Living in Chiang Mai for 4 Months

Chiang Mai isn't just about food. 1. Golf: You can play golf at a reasonable price here. There are places where you can play without a caddy, and even solo golfing is possible. It was truly relaxing to play. Practice ranges are also affordable. 2. Beautiful Sunsets: You can enjoy the sunset while camping in a tent at Mon Jam Mountain or by visiting the Doi Suthep Temple. Even the rooftop of Maya Mall offers a great view. 3. Hot Springs: There are plenty of hot springs around. You can find them in Chiang Dao, near Chiang Mai in San Kamphaeng, and even on the way to Chiang Rai. Give it a try and enjoy boiled eggs cooked in the hot spring water. 4. Trekking: Trekking is fantastic here. Doi Inthanon and Wat Pha Lat in Chiang Mai are both amazing. The scenery is breathtaking, and the trails aren't too challenging, so give it a shot. 5. Yoga: Yoga is great here. Free yoga sessions are available at Nong Buak Haad Park in the Old Town and at the One Nimman building in Nimmanhaemin. Don't forget to apply mosquito repellent as you'll sweat a lot and attract mosquitoes. Watching Westerners effortlessly perform difficult poses inspired me to improve my own skills. There are many other activities to enjoy as well.
