Drive around and relax in Chiang Rai - 3 days 2 nights trip

Chiang Rai is another province in the North with beautiful tourist attractions and nature. For those who want to drive to see beautiful mountain views along the way, today we will share a fun driving route, stop by to check in and take some chill photos. DAY 1 Bangkok - Chiang Rai Land at Mae Fah Luang Airport / Pick up a rental car at the airport. Arrive in the afternoon. On the first day, we will visit the district and spend 1 night in the city. - Wat Rong Khun, a beautiful white temple, is a famous temple in Chiang Rai. It is not far from the city center. It takes about 30 minutes to drive. - Wat Rong Suea Ten, a beautiful and unusual blue temple. Drive back into the city center. It is about 20 minutes from Wat Rong Khun. - Wat Huai Plakang, a temple with a 9-story pagoda and a large white Guan Yin statue. Drive for about 10 minutes. - Phu Fah Wari Resort in the city center is only 15 minutes from the airport. In front, there is a restaurant on the ground and on the mountain. The food is delicious. I recommend it. DAY 2 Leave the accommodation in the city center early in the morning to see the sea of ​​mist at Doi Chang Moob. Same route as Wat Phra That Doi Tung - Doi Chang Moob, a viewpoint of the Thai-Burmese mountain range, great weather, with beautiful fog views. Drive for about 1 hour. - Ban Pha Hee, a village in a valley on the Thai-Burmese border. Stop for breakfast and drip coffee at Pha Hee Coffee Shop. Drive along the mountain for about 10 minutes and you will arrive. - Suan Khun Pu Life Museum, stop for a cup of coffee in the beautiful valley of Ban Pha Mi. The shop has a great atmosphere. The coconut cake is delicious. The route from Ban Pha Hee to Ban Pha Mi is not very far, but the route is quite steep and dangerous. Please drive carefully. - Pha Tang Hill Resort, accommodation in a Thai-Yunnan Chinese village with a mountain view surrounding you. Drive a long way to Chiang Khong District - Wiang Kaen District. This route has beautiful mountain views all the way, very pleasant to look at. Travel time is 3.5 hours. Stay here for 1 night. Don't miss the Yunnan pork leg menu. It's delicious when eaten with steamed buns. DAY 3 Wake up early to see the sea of ​​fog at Doi Pha Tang. Drive from the accommodation to the starting point for about 5 minutes. - Doi Pha Tang, a viewpoint of the sea of ​​mist over the Mekong River and the mountains of Laos. You have to walk up to this point. It's not far, about 500 meters. - Mae Suai Dam Viewpoint, drive to Mae Suai District on the way up to Doi Chang. This is another stop with a very beautiful view. It takes about 3 hours to get there. - Abonzo Paradise, a famous coffee shop on Doi Chang, is on a hill with a very beautiful view. The coffee is delicious. - U Garden, a beautiful view cafe with a Turkish-style photo corner. The sunset view is very beautiful. The shop is opposite Abonzo, just a little downhill. - Baan Suan Doi Chang, a small accommodation in the middle of a valley with a good atmosphere, inexpensive. There is a restaurant and in the morning, they serve very delicious macadamia milk. We stayed here for 1 night. DAY 4, the last day of the trip. Wake up early to visit the cafe on Doi Chang before heading back to the city. - IRONDark Cafe, a cool style cafe with beautiful photo corners and delicious coffee. - YAYO Farm, another beautiful view cafe on Doi Chang with a good atmosphere and many photo corners. - Akha Framville, a sheep farm cafe with a very good view. Located at the viewpoint at Km.5, the little sheep are so cute. From Doi Chang, we drove back into Chiang Rai city to return the rental car and catch the flight back to Bangkok. The journey took about 1.5 hours. We stopped to fill up the gas tank before returning the car. We planned to drive around in a circle, allowing us to visit more places within the designated time.
