Worship at Wat Muen Lan | Chiang Mai

Located on the Sunday walking street near Tha Pae Gate, this temple has a very auspicious name. People flock to this temple in hopes of becoming rich like its name. The temple is a mixture of Lanna and Burmese styles, with a layered roof covering the stairs. Inside, in front of the principal Buddha image, there are many Naga serpents intertwined together. Behind the temple is a library, some of which are painted red and gold, looking beautiful. Nearby is a Burmese-style brick and mortar pagoda. There is also a newly built ordination hall because the original was burned down. Wat Muen Lan is a temple located in the city gate area near the city gate of Chiang Mai Province. It is on the way from Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan, opposite Wat Phan On.
