Unique Art Museum in Chiang Mai

Roi Dvarapala Ban Devalaya is a unique art museum in Chiang Mai that combines elements of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Thai culture. It is located near Suthep Alley. The entrance to the museum is a beautifully carved wooden door depicting Hindu mythology. The museum houses over 50 works of art, including murals, paintings, and sculptures, mainly with Buddhist, Hindu, and Thai themes. The most striking is a giant wooden sculpture of Ganesh, which is 6 meters high, 2.5 meters wide, and weighs 5 tons. It is considered one of the largest sculptures of its kind in Thailand.
