First, remember to purchase your tickets online; you can also buy them on-site via the internet, but there's no need to buy in advance as they are non-refundable. From the Old City, it's a 25-minute taxi ride to the zoo. With online tickets, you can enter directly by scanning the code and receiving a schedule. Arrive at the zoo by 4:50 PM and immediately turn right upon entering. Spend about 30 minutes walking around the lake to admire the small animals. Afterward, head straight to the tiger show area. The Tiger Show starts at 5:30 PM and is quite entertaining. As it nears the end, leave a minute or two early to save time. Next, catch the 6:00 PM herbivore tram tour, where you'll see giraffes and zebras. This tour lasts about 25 minutes. Be sure not to queue for the carnivore section yet. Instead, head to the 6:35 PM wildlife show, which ends at 6:55 PM, and then proceed to the carnivore section. Finally, take the 7:00 PM carnivore tram tour, which concludes at 7:30 PM. As your visit wraps up, remember to book a Bolt taxi 15 minutes before finishing. You can even book it during the tour, as the entrance only offers songthaew rides at 300 baht for a private hire or 60 baht per person, departing only when there are five passengers.
