InterContinental Chiang Mai Resort - Afternoon tea and a tour of the Presidential Suite where Teresa Teng once stayed.

The InterContinental Chiang Mai Resort, an IHG hotel, was formerly the Royal Princess Chiang Mai. It was the only international standard four-star hotel in Chiang Mai in the last century, and Teresa Teng stayed here twice during her visits to Chiang Mai. This legendary hotel in Chiang Mai was taken over by the IHG InterContinental Hotels Group and underwent a major renovation with the owner, becoming the top five-star luxury hotel in downtown Chiang Mai, and officially reopened last year. The 1502 suite where Teresa Teng stayed is located on the 16th floor of the hotel, which has been renovated into the HONG'S restaurant, and the suite is located in the deepest part. To get to the restaurant, you need to take a dedicated elevator, which is next to the guest room elevator. The guest room elevator plays modern music, while the dedicated elevator plays Teresa Teng's songs. You can enjoy afternoon tea here from 11:00 to 17:00 every day, and you can also visit the 1502 Teresa Teng Suite. In addition, there is another place I like in the InterContinental Chiang Mai - the HONG'S Sky Bar on the 17th floor of the hotel in the evening, where you can have a few drinks and watch the sunset. The beautiful view of the misty Suthep Mountain is very comfortable! This bar is one of the best sky bars in Chiang Mai in my opinion.
