In November 2018, the Chiang Mai Water Lantern Festival

Time: The nights of November 22nd and 23rd, 2018. Location: In the temples, Nawana Bridge, and by the Mae Ping River. 1. After watching the water lantern festival parade for a while, in a temple near Tapei Road, I saw monks helping tourists light Kongming lanterns. 2. After watching the candle blessing ceremony at Pando Temple, I arrived at Nawana Bridge. 3. By the Mae Ping River, releasing water lanterns. How many tens of thousands of people must be on that Nawana Bridge! It feels like all the tourists in the world are here for the Water Lantern Festival. There is no shock of thousands of people releasing sky lanterns together here. But it's more natural, more pure, more authentic. I saw - Pairs of hands, pushing together. Pairs of eyes, full of anticipation. Lanterns, drifting away slowly. When I saw countless Kongming lanterns rising slowly, When the night of Chiang Mai was illuminated by Kongming lanterns, When these brilliant colors bloomed in the sky of Chiang Mai, I saw wishes, I saw hope, I saw happiness, I saw warmth, In everyone's eyes, faces, smiles. I came to the Mae Ping River and bought a water lantern. The water lantern is decorated with incense candles and fresh flowers, And colorful paper utensils, as a tribute to Buddha. This is the most beautiful time of the Water Lantern Festival. On the water surface, there are twinkling stars and flickering candle lights. Illuminating the thick and indissoluble tenderness. The traditional festival of the Water Lantern Festival, Has been drifting along the river for more than 700 years. I squeezed through the dense crowd to the river. The rainy season is over, the water is high, the boat is high, the flowers are good, the moon is round. The water lanterns are drifting, drifting on the river, drifting to the distance. On this romantic and beautiful day, We are here, we are together. Let the memory, be sealed in this moment. Let this scene, become eternal.

The Loi Krathong Festival is a solemn day of Thailand. People would have a bath and wear traditional dress of Lan Na. The whole family or lovers would get together to float water lamps and then fly sky lanterns. Water lamps scatter over the water like stars and look gorgeous. Carrying blessings, all sky lanterns soar into the sky and ignite the night.

Chiang Mai 🇹🇭 will probably always stay one of my favorite getaway destinations. Probably because of all the nice coffee shops☕️ 😍 #cafehopping culture is real and thriving in Chiang Mai. These photos were taken at one of my favorite cafes I visited during my last trip to Chiang Mai, it’s part of the Baristro group, this specific one is located at 📍Mae Ping River. It’s a very “instagrammable” place with a beautiful view of the river and loads of beautiful decorated rooms. Some people go there just to get the perfect photo, but I highly recommend trying their coffee. Their creative menu offers a lot of options. I opted for the black iced latte and I didn’t regret it. I can’t wait to go visit again! #chiangmaitravel #chiangmai #baristro #thailandtravel #thailand #awesomepic #holidayvacation #tripinspired #happynewyear

“loy krathong and yi peng festival” One of the best festival to look forward to when you’re in Thailand is the Loy Krathong and Yi Peng Festival though it is celebrated in the whole country every year, nothing can beat how Chiang Mai celebrate it as it is very unforgettable experience you will have. I won’t share what are those experiences cause I don’t want to spoil it. I want you to see and experience it yourselves. #scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#travelinspiration#mynovgetaway#awesomepic#instagramworthydestinations
