Chiang Mai's largest meditation center, a place where you can truly calm down.

Many Thai families believe in Buddhism and will go to the temple to offer food to the monks around the middle of each month. During my stay at this guesthouse in Chiang Mai, we happened to join them on their day of offering. The temple they regularly visit is Wat Lang Bon, which is said to be the largest meditation center in Chiang Mai. 😁😁 Highlights: Lanben Temple is built very grand and magnificent. Walking in, you feel the splendor of gold and jade. The biggest feature here is quietness, hidden in lush green trees, it is indeed very suitable for meditation. There are no tourists, no noise, solemn and solemn, and there is an old tower behind it that is being repaired. It can be seen that it is a temple with a long history, and the renovation has also been carefully done. 🌿🌿 Meditation: It is said that there is a special Zen meditation package for foreigners here. When we went there, we saw a large dining area next to the main hall, where foreigners wearing white practice clothes were quietly eating at individual tables. The only sounds in their ears were the chirping of insects, the singing of birds, and the rustling of leaves. It truly is a good place for spiritual healing. 🚗🚗 Self-driving: Navigation can take you directly there. It's very close to the famous Wumeng Temple, so you can plan to visit together when making travel plans. Just park your car in the temple. 🔺🔺 tips: The main hall is closed and not accessible, but can be seen at a glance. When entering the Buddhist area, shoes must be taken off and dress code should be serious.
