Baan Sai Mok, Chiang Dao

We stayed at "Baan Sai Mok" during the early winter, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! Waking up in the morning, we were greeted by a sea of mist right in front of the house, with a full view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao. The vibe was perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunrise—so breathtaking it left us speechless. ☕🌄 🏡 The accommodation is simple yet incredibly charming. We stayed in a tent, which was very affordable—around 600 THB per person, including dinner and breakfast! 🍚 🍲 Dinner consisted of rice and various local dishes, all delicious. Breakfast was simple but warm and satisfying. • The shared bathrooms are clean, but there’s no water heater. • No electricity (solar-powered lanterns are provided). • Mobile signal is weak, making it a great opportunity to truly unwind. • Be sure to bring warm clothes because the nights are genuinely cold. 📍 Getting there: You can drive up yourself. The road is quite steep, but the views along the way are absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a place with stunning mountain views, Baan Sai Mok is the perfect choice. 📸✨
