Chenzhou Shenxianzhai Travel Guide Shenxianzhai is adjacent to Feitianshan Scenic Area. You can navigate to Chenzhou "Shenxianzhai" to get there. It is located about 2 km inside Wayao Ping. As for why this place is called "Shenxianzhai", I have not found a definite answer. Perhaps it is a name artificially created to enhance the publicity effect. It was originally a privately contracted forest farm, which was later developed and constructed. It gives people an overall feeling of being exquisite and beautiful, like a small family. The scenic area is not large. It takes about 20 minutes to climb from the foot of the mountain to the top. If you want to sweat profusely, it may not be enough. Its main highlight is the viewing platform. From here, you can see the river like a green ribbon (especially when the boat crosses the river and ripples, it is even more unique), and you can also enjoy the open scenery of the mountains. The viewing platform is spacious, about 30 to 40 square meters, and there are lounge chairs. In summer, the cool breeze is blowing. It is very pleasant to take a back photo or take a rest here. However, in winter, because it is open from north to south, the cold wind is howling. If you don't lean on the handrail to bask in the sun, you will feel a little cool. This is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. For photography enthusiasts, it must be easy to take great photos. After leaving the viewing platform, turn right to the top of the mountain and then return. This path adds a lot of fun. Although the viewing platform is beautiful, it is in a semi-enclosed space, which always makes people feel unsatisfied. When you reach the top of the mountain, although there is no such heroic spirit of "seeing all the mountains", there is also a sense of openness, as if you are connected with the world. If the scenery of the viewing platform is like an eternal poem, then the scenery after reaching the top is like a song full of vigor, which makes people feel refreshed. Note: Shenxianzhai is a privately contracted forest land. There is a simple bamboo gate at the entrance, and there is a contact number on the door. After arriving, call, and someone will come to open the door in a few minutes. The fee is CNY 10 per person. Call in advance when going down the mountain, and someone will come to open the door and let you go.
