Changtang Village, Lutang Town, Chenzhou, a good place for upstream hiking       Oujiashan, Changtang Village, Lutang Town, Beihu District, Chenzhou City (formerly Changtang Village, Nanxi Township), is located under Yangtian Lake, with an altitude of more than 900 meters. The mountains here are high and densely forested, and the ancient trees are towering. There is a canyon in the mountains, and the villagers' houses are built on the mountain. There is a stream at the bottom of the valley, which is the upper reaches of the Xixi River. Going upstream along the stream, you can see the gurgling water and the cascading waterfalls. On both sides of the stream are terraces. In October of the golden autumn, the rice waves are rolling and the rice is fragrant. Local farmers like to raise small crucian carp and small carp in the rice fields, called hehua fish. The fish is delicate and fragrant, and it is a good delicacy, but it is a bit expensive, 70 yuan a catty, since it is here, you always have to taste it.     The vegetation in the village is lush, and it is far away from the city and there are no factories, so the air is particularly fresh and the scenery is very beautiful, like a paradise. Because the altitude is above 900 meters, the summer temperature here generally stays around 25 degrees, which is a good place to escape the heat and cool off, and the good thing is that there are no mosquitoes and flies here. Every summer, there are many citizens from Chenzhou city who come here to escape the heat, but this also poses a challenge to local environmental protection.        Most of the villagers in the village are surnamed Fan. It is said that they are descendants of Fan Zhongyan and moved here during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Indeed, the local customs here are simple, the academic atmosphere is strong, the villagers love to read, and they admire scholars. The small village has produced many college students. They call themselves "Confucian Family", which is a bit exaggerated, but it is just a joke.
