Fuxian Lake is a place where even a special forces-style tour would need 2 days and 1 night, and a slow tour of a week would not be too much. 2: Chengjiang Fossil Site Natural Museum: 4A scenic area, free admission, recommendation index: 5A, suggested time: half a day (over 3 hours) This is another national-level tourism resource bestowed by the heavens after Fuxian Lake. It has won the World Natural Heritage Museum and the 'Top Ten Museum Exhibition Excellence Awards' in 2021, hailed as 'one of the rarest finds in the history of modern paleontology research,' 'one of the 20 most astonishing discoveries in the world,' and the 'golden key to revealing the mystery of the Cambrian 'explosion of life'.' A trip to Chengjiang would be in vain without visiting Fuxian Lake and this museum. Overall, although Chengjiang is not well-known nationally, its tourism resources are completely underestimated. Although it is difficult to rank among the top 100 counties for tourism resources, it can definitely rank between 100 to 200, which is an existence that can defeat 95% of the counties and cities in China. It is also a must-visit place when traveling to Yunnan. Don't just focus on Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Xishuangbanna, and Tengchong when traveling to Yunnan; include Chengjiang in your Yunnan travel plan.
