Superb route to avoid crowds at Sanxingdui Museum

⚠️⚠️Remember these tips: 1️⃣ You can book tickets 5 days in advance; summer vacation brings many study tours and travel groups. 2️⃣ Enter the museum at 8:30 AM and head straight to see the iconic artifacts for fewer crowds and perfect photo opportunities. 3️⃣ Follow the recommended visiting order (see below), take photos first, then explore in detail, and tour in reverse order. ✅ Ticket price: 72 RMB/person, half price for students (free for children under 1.3 meters). ✅ Booking: Tickets are released on the official account at 8 PM daily, book up to 5 days in advance. ✅⏰ Opening hours: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM (open on Mondays), in July and August from 8:30 AM–8:00 PM. Plan for 3–4 hours of visiting. Use your ID card to enter. ✅ Queueing: Join any line at the entrance; the fastest line depends on the flow. After security check, look around for the shortest ID card scanning line and head there. ✅ Luggage storage: On the right-hand side after entering. ✅ Listen to Sanxingdui explanations on the way to the museum to get a general idea and spark kids' interest. ✅ Recommended visiting times: Enter at 8:30 AM for fewer crowds; study groups arrive around 10 AM. Alternatively, visit after 5 PM when it’s reportedly less crowded. ✅ There are 5 exhibition halls; artifacts are mainly in Hall 1. Hall 2 is closed. Visit Hall 1 first. ✅ Cultural ice cream costs 15 RMB (available in front of the Post Office Cultural Store). ✅ Perfect photo route: 🔴 Head straight to 【1️⃣F Second Exhibition Area】 via the exit (towards the cultural store direction, look for security guards there) to photograph 【Bronze Standing Figure】➕【Gold Mask】➕【Golden Staff】. 🔴➡️ Then go to 【2F Third Exhibition Area】→ Take the spiral staircase to the 2️⃣F, head to the right-hand side exit of the Third Exhibition Area to see 【Bronze Divine Tree】➕【Money Tree】, then explore the rest of the 2F at leisure. 🔴➡️ Return to 1F via the Second Exhibition Area exit and start exploring in reverse order. 🔴➡️ Visit the 【1️⃣F Cultural Store】➕ Basement Level for stamps.
