Not bringing the state of mind from a working day into the weekend is Rule No. 1. ➖ Since I developed the hobby of staying in hotels, I started spending my weekly gap day in hotels. Not long ago, I stayed at a newly opened City Intercity Hotel in Chengdu. I was completely impressed by the charm of this brand the first time I stayed there, so I got a little carried away and booked another night last weekend, but this time I switched to another branch--Chengdu Century City Tianfu Business District Intercity Hotel. ➖ The common points of the two are: newly opened, close to the CBD and transportation hubs, the design continues the highly intelligent sense of German aesthetics, and the market positioning is still a highly functional business hotel. ➖ But this store also has its own characteristics, which are some points that I personally like very much. I stayed in the executive king room, which is the best room type in this store. There are 15 rooms in total. Although there are no suites with 70 or 80 square meters, it also has more than 50 square meters, leaving enough space for the entrance hall and sofa lounge area, and the slender corridor is also quite deep. The executive room is the only room type with a bathtub. Since the goal is to lie flat in the hotel with one click, taking a bath must be on the list. The configuration of the mini bar has not changed much. The sauce-flavored dark beer is very Intercity, but the preparation of welcome fruits and handwritten cards is obviously more attentive, which adds a lot to the initial impression. ➖ In the guest room, black, white, and gray are still dominant. The gray flowing marble, walnut walls and floors, the warm light of the bedside chandelier, and the Bluetooth speaker playing Keshi's delicate and soft music, at this moment, the air is filled with tranquility and calmness. The most important activity of a staycation is sleeping. The appropriate support of the Sealy mattress is what I have really felt since I stayed at Intercity. The "no-fold foot wrap bed" is also a detail that I love very much. Replacing the restraint of the traditional tucked-in corners is the zero-resistance experience of "covering the quilt as soon as you lie down", which is really humane. On Saturdays, I like to go to bed earlier, so that I can wake up naturally at 7 or 8 o'clock the next day, and then simply wash up and go straight to the gym to book the venue.
