🗺【Itinerary】 Day 1 (1/11): Hong Kong → #Chengdu • Arrived in Chengdu at night, arrived at the hotel at midnight, went to bed quickly and prepared to go to the plateau in the morning Day 2-6 (2/11-6/11): Daocheng Yading + Siguniang Mountain 6-person group • Day 2: Chengdu → Kangding → Honghai Lake → #Yuzixi → Xinduqiao o Experience: When we were crossing Zheduo Mountain along National Highway 318, we suddenly saw a group of Tibetan macaques foraging on the hillside. The driver deliberately slowed down the car to let us take pictures. The monkeys' lively demeanor made everyone in the car exclaim. • Day 3: Xinduqiao → Eighteen Bends of the Heavenly Road → Litang → Haizi Mountain → Shangri-La Town o Food: For dinner, try the yak beef hotpot in Litang. The meat is firm and has a light milky aroma, and the wild mushroom soup base enhances the flavor. • Day 4: #DaochengYading o The snow scene meets the autumn colors, and the golden larch and emerald green lake are intertwined, just like an oil painting. We encountered heavy snow on the way back, which made the journey longer but the snow scenery was very beautiful. • Day 5: Moshi Park → Tagong Grassland → Danba o Moshi Park is not big, but the stone forest has a unique texture, and the black and white rocks form a strong texture contrast with the snow-capped mountains in the distance. • Day 6: #SiGuniangShan Shuangqiaogou → Chengdu o A small episode: On the way back, we passed the Balang Mountain Pass and encountered light snow. It was the first time for southerners to see snow falling on the mountains. Even the tour guide felt that we were so lucky. Day 7-10 is a few days of self-guided tour. We stayed at Haoyi SMART Hotel (Chunxi Road Branch), which is very close to #Taikooli and very convenient. Day 7 (7/11): Chengdu Slow Travel Day • I went to the giant panda base early in the morning and was lucky enough to capture the moment when the baby panda failed to climb a tree and fell down. The mirrorless camera in continuous shooting mode did the trick. • Lunch at the main restaurant of "Chen Mapo Tofu". The combination of spicy and beef brisket was amazing. I also ordered her pigeon soup, which was very sweet. Day 8 (8/11): Qingcheng Mountain + Dujiangyan • Fairy mist lingers over Mount Qingcheng, and the ink-and-wash artistic conception comes alive on the canvas. • When you visit Dujiangyan, you will realize that the six-word mantra of “deepening the riverbed and building low dams” for water control has been used for thousands of years. Day 9 (9/11): Tour of Sanxingdui Civilization • The streamlined patterns of the large bronze standing figure, when magnified by the macro lens of a mirrorless camera, show the exquisiteness of the ancient Shu craftsmen. I regret not renting professional commentary headphones. Day 10 (10/11): Chengdu → Hong Kong • I bought shredded beef with Chinese broth and diced rabbit with spicy and spicy sauce at the specialty store next to the hotel. When the clerk heard that I was from Hong Kong, he enthusiastically recommended the freshly braised rabbit head that did not require vacuum packaging. ________________________________________ 📍【Must-see attractions】 1. Litang Yak Hotpot: Yak meat with skin will not become tough even after long cooking, and it has a unique flavor when dipped in Tibetan chili sauce. 2. Chen Mapo Tofu: The spicy and beefy flavors are a perfect combination. 3. Dujiangyan Youtu: The five-spice sauce is so flavorful that it penetrates into the bone marrow. Dealing with plateau light: The ultraviolet rays in Daocheng Yading are strong, and polarizing filters can effectively increase the saturation of lake water while avoiding overexposure of the sky. 2. Tips for taking photos through the car window: Wild animals are common while driving in Ganzi Prefecture. Set the camera shutter to above 1/1000 second and enable silent shutter to avoid disturbing the monkeys. ________________________________________ 📣【Practical suggestions】 1. Before departure, Zhang was mentally prepared for the toilet conditions at the mountainous scenic spots in #Ganzi Prefecture. 2. The drive to Ganzi Prefecture is long, so bring plenty of camera batteries and make good use of the car charger to avoid missing out on unexpected scenery along the way.
