Located in the heart of the High-tech Zone, adjacent to Yintai in99 and Jiaozi Park, the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu is a hotel that combines classic elegance with modern luxury. During my stay, I gained a deep understanding of the overall experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I could feel its grandeur and elegance. The lobby is located on the 50th floor, with a unique design and an old-fashioned luxury decor style. The black and gold color scheme exudes a noble aura. The rooms are mainly concentrated on the 30th to 40th floors, offering a wide view of the city. My room was spacious and bright, with high standards of decor and facilities, especially the 600-thread-count linen bedding, which provided an extremely comfortable sleep experience. In addition, the room was equipped with Ferragamo toiletries and a separate office area, meeting my dual needs for work and rest. In terms of service, the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu also performed exceptionally well. The doorman service was warm and attentive, making me feel at home. The room service was professional and prompt, with quick responses to room cleaning and item replenishment. The turndown service was particularly thoughtful, not only preparing the bed but also providing two bottles of water, which was very heartwarming. In addition, the hotel offered a wide range of dining options, from the breakfast buffet to the authentic Sichuan cuisine in the Chinese restaurant, all of which were unforgettable. However, during my stay, I also noticed some shortcomings. For example, the hotel's mattress was too soft, which may be uncomfortable for people with back or neck problems. In addition, the showerhead had a strong water flow, which was not delicate enough, resulting in a mediocre experience. Furthermore, the hotel's location was relatively remote, requiring about half an hour by taxi to Chunxi Road, which was less convenient than hotels in other locations. Overall, the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu provided me with an unforgettable stay with its excellent service and facilities. Although there were some shortcomings, they were minor in comparison. Whether for business trips or leisure travel, this is a highly recommended choice.
