Wuhou Memorial Temple, Chengdu, China

Tickets: 50 RMB/person Don't forget to bring your passport ! Wuhou Temple is located in the southwestern part of downtown Chengdu. The date of its establishment is unclear. It was built next to the Temple of Liu Bei. The current Wuhou Temple was rebuilt in 1672. Wuhou Temple, also known as Wuhou Shrine Temple of Marquis, is dedicated to Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang was an excellent politician, militarist and diplomat. Before visiting this place, it is worth watching one of the movies about the era of the Three Kingdoms in Ancient China. It will become much clearer why this place attracts so many tourists. I recommend to watch "Red Cliff", directed by John Woo. It's a 2008–2009 Chinese epic war movie, based on the Battle of Red Cliffs (208–209 AD) and the events at the end of the Han dynasty. #historicplaces
