Chengdu Travel | Two Lakes and a Museum, a 'Competent' Business Travel Hotel

I was quite surprised when I saw this Courtyard by Marriott last year, as I had only stayed in them abroad and had not yet experienced one close to home. As a hotel brand created by Marriott for business and leisure travelers, the geographical location of this Courtyard is also quite 'competent'. 🪧 Two Lakes and a Museum The hotel is adjacent to the Western China International Expo City, and you can see the Expo City from the restaurant. The massive Expo City is within close reach, and visually, it feels quite imposing. The guest rooms face Xinglong Lake on one side and Qinhuang Lake on the other, showcasing the superior location of the hotel. 🛤️ Surrounding Transportation You could say that the subway station is right outside the door, at most a 5-minute walk. There are also buses available, but the waiting time is probably longer. 🌵 Environment and Setting ▫️ I quite like their lobby bar on the first floor, which has a design for coffee by day and drinks by night. Half modern and stylish, half calm and restrained. It also has a long conference table for multiple people. ▫️ The restaurant not only has a bright and transparent main hall area but also private rooms with leisure functions, suitable for banquets. ▫️ There is a high-altitude executive lounge on the 27th floor, which can also be used for mini birthday parties and the like. ▫️ There is a gym, but no swimming pool. 🏨 Stay Experience I stayed in a basic guest room, about 40 square meters, equipped with a desk and a sofa. The lighting and home furnishings are very comfortable~ The tea set is from Luzerne, Singapore, a brand used by many hotels, but actually, it is made in our Fujian. 😏 The toiletries are from the British niche brand Nirvae.
