A sneak peek at the new exhibition 'The Third Nature' at A4X

'The Third Nature', in my view, is a conceptual experiment about various notions of nature. I couldn't wait to get a glimpse before the official opening of the A4X 'The Third Nature' public art season. I found artists that personally interest me, including Da Bei Universe - Lin Kunhao, Liu Di (Visual Effects Director for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics), Liu Guoqiang, and Yang Song. The exhibition in its complete form features 20 works by 14 groups of artists. There are two pieces that are not inside the A4X exhibition hall, which require some searching. I will visit again later, and we can chat about my thoughts in detail then. For now, after seeing the exhibition, my biggest reflection is whether humans, hundreds or thousands of years from now, will reach a point where nature no longer exists, and then they will recreate nature on outer space or other planets using presentations similar to these artworks? With this thought in mind, I find these works both romantic and melancholic.
