| Awarded the Black Truffle Prize, a century-old luxury French hotel. The Black Truffle Prize, officially known as the China Homestay List 'Black Truffle Prize', uses the rare and hard-to-harvest black truffle as a symbol to highlight the preciousness of making it onto the list. Lushan Amber Hotel in Chengdu won the 7th Black Truffle Prize in 2023 for the Annual Resort Hotel List. MASION ALBAR Amber Hotel is a high-end boutique hotel from France dating back to 1923. The Amber family has always been committed to French aesthetics, perfectly integrating local history, culture, and geographical features, along with personalized butler-style services, to provide guests with personalized mansion butler services (Maitre de Maison). Italian Tuscany + Modern Oriental style, the hotel exterior is very French, while the interior is a new Chinese style created by combining Chengdu's local characteristics. The hotel is not large, with only 63 guest rooms, private and elegant. The rooms are typically modern oriental style, with brown wood finishes, wallpapers, and carpets for the ceiling, floor, and walls, combined with bronze lighting fixtures, understated, restrained, and luxurious. This stay was in a large bed room with a terrace, about 45 square meters in size, and the space was very comfortable. I really liked the embroidered goldfish on the headboard wall, where the designer incorporated elements of 'Shu embroidery', very thoughtful. The bathroom shower hardware is Hansgrohe, and the basin is Villeroy & Boch, with a great texture. The hotel advocates butler-style service. Upon check-in, the room was prepared with welcome fruits and a card; before nightfall, the butler would also deliver calming silver ear soup and pastries, very considerate. Each floor's corridor and the 1F lobby have many artistic ornaments, and there is also a painting created by the designer for the hotel in the lobby, called 'Spring Night Happy Rain', very stylish. There is Lushan Coffee and an all-day restaurant; on the 2F, there is a gym; on the 3F, there is an executive lounge. The executive lounge has a very French manor atmosphere. Matching the style of the entire Lushan Town, the hotel exterior also has a strong Italian Tuscany vibe, very suitable for outdoor weddings or parties. During my stay, it was the weekend, and I encountered two weddings, the atmosphere on-site was really great. On weekends, Lushan Town occasionally holds market events, and if you happen to be staying during one, I recommend experiencing it.
