The Temple House is located at No. 81, Bitieshi Street, Jinjiang District, Chengdu. It is the fifth hotel in Asia under the Swire Hotels group and also the third hotel under the House brand. The hotel's design ingeniously integrates modern architectural design with the traditional style of the old Bitieshi Street courtyard houses, situated in the bustling center yet enjoying its own tranquil oasis. Shu brocade, as a traditional intangible cultural heritage of Chengdu, has a long history. Inspired by this, the design team has incorporated the principles of Chengdu brocade weaving into the structure of the brick and stone exterior walls, cleverly reflected in the hotel's facade. The grand staircase leading to the reception area also draws on the terraced landscape of the Sichuan region. Two separate buildings are constructed in opposing 'L' shapes, incorporating traditional Chinese courtyards within.
