Chengde Mountain Resort/Puning Temple

Inside the Mahayana Pavilion of Puning Temple, the world's largest gilded wooden carving of the Great Buddha, the Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Guanyin, is enshrined. In 1999, it was recognized by the Guinness World Records. The Great Buddha is 27.21 meters tall, has a waist circumference of 15 meters, and weighs 110 tons. With 42 arms and 43 eyes, it is considered a treasure of world art. I entered the Puning Blessing Post Office with the idea of just giving it a try, and happiness came too unexpectedly. This place is not just a mailing point, but also a beautiful spot for stamping and punching cards. Each stamp is filled with the charm of history and the breath of culture, and every detail seems to tell an ancient story, intoxicating those who immerse in it. The post office's lady was particularly enthusiastic. Knowing that I had my own stamp book, she said I could stamp as I pleased. I happily enjoyed the air conditioning, admiring each stamp while slowly stamping them. There were dozens of stamps, including Puning Temple commemorative stamps, zodiac Bodhisattva stamps, and commemorative stamps from each province, but I only stamped those from Chengde and Beijing. These exquisite stamps will all be precious memories of this trip. The post office is on the right side of the exit. The ticket for Puning Temple is 60 yuan.
