Chatuchak market is open even after the pandemic. However, it is not so crowded as before and some of the shops are vacant. But overall, still a good place to visit and chill out. Most of the shops congregate on the outer streets, which is better for ventilation and also plenty of walking space. You still can find good bargains and worth a half day trip tp Chatuchak. Usually, I will take BTS and alight at Mo Chit BTS and walk over. There is also another way which is taking the metro to Metro Kamphaeng Phet.
