Beautiful church, Chanthaburi, Immaculate Conception Church

It is over 100 years old and has been renovated 5 times. It was built during World War II. In front of the church, there is a large statue of the Virgin Mary. This church is not only architecturally beautiful, but also a center of faith for Christians. It received the Conservation Building of the Year Award in 1999 and has been recognized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as an important tourist attraction in Thailand. Inside the church, it is decorated with carved wood and stained glass in the shape of Christian saints, gemstone images of the Virgin Mary and Jesus at the entrance and exit, and the "Mother Mary Decorated with Gems" statue in the center of the hall, decorated with gold, silver, and 20,000 carats of gems, using only white, blue, and yellow. 🕰️bOpening hours: 6:00 - 20:00 hrs.
