I'll stay at this hotel whenever I visit Changzhou!

Changzhou Courtyard by Marriott Review: A Unique Experience at a New Hotel I recently stayed at Changzhou Courtyard by Marriott and had a unique experience. Here's my review. 💰️Price Approx. CNY 650 per person. Great value for money. 🏘️Room Type/Layout I contacted the hotel in advance and was given the best "Garden View King Room" (excluding suites), which was actually a corner room. It had a huge balcony that was larger than the room itself, but the room was the same size as other standard rooms on the same floor. The hotel only has three suites available for booking. One is rented long-term, and the other two are used for member upgrades. If you get upgraded to a suite, you're very lucky. 🛌Amenities/Facilities The room was well-equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, Kohler sink and toilet, Hansgrohe bathroom fittings, and a PG bathtub. The bathrobes and towels were soft and comfortable, and I thought they were better than those at a certain lion-themed hotel. The first round of minibar items is free, but Tsingtao beer and Voss water have been removed, and the fruit selection has changed. The hotel pool is spacious, with three indoor areas and one outdoor area. The fitness center has a family activity area and a chess room. The chess room is elegant and stylish. The breakfast selection may change, and the Kashi yogurt and Häagen-Dazs mentioned in other reviews were not available, but there were many local snacks. The braised pork in the noodle section was delicious and worth trying. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness The hotel is newly opened, and there wasn't much of a smell from the renovation. It was much better than the Shangyu Marriott, and I didn't need an air purifier. The hotel was very clean. 💗Other Tips The public areas are a highlight. They're beautifully designed and unique. However, smoking is allowed in the public areas, and I saw people smoking in the lobby bar. The air smelled of smoke, new paint, and hotel fragrance. The surrounding area is quite desolate, with few dining options. The small town's shopping street has a limited selection of goods, but there are performances in the evening that are worth watching. The hotel offers a great experience, mainly due to the generous owner. I hope this high-quality experience continues. Changzhou Courtyard by Marriott has excellent facilities and some great services. Although there are some issues with the surrounding area and public areas, it's still worth visiting while it's newly opened.
