Gap Travel: A Journey Through the Culinary Desert

Changzhou Gourmet Exploration 🚶‍♂🚇 Departing from Changzhou Station, take the subway to Bo'ai Road to start the gourmet journey. At Zhongshanmen Market, I tried the egg burger, beef pan-fried bun, and small wontons, and almost got too full to eat the osmanthus rice cake. 🛍💒 I strolled through Qingguo Alley, and although some buildings were not open, I could still feel its historical charm. Next to the shrimp cake stall on the street, I found a charming tricolor cat with heterochromia, and finally had a drink at the Apron Mom Milk Tea Shop. 🏠🍮 Around the corner is the former residence of Sheng Xuanhuai, and next to it is Zeng's Finance Dessert Shop, where I tasted their double-skin milk, which had a slight fishy taste. Then I walked along Nandajie, bought the taro-flavored koi fish-shaped buns and egg tarts from Egg Tart Prince. Although the koi fish bun skin was a bit oily and the taro filling was not sweet, it still needed some sugar. 🥞🍳 Continuing on, I arrived at the Changzhou Cake and Dumpling Shop, which was bustling with people, and tried their egg pancake, which was a bit salty. Finally, I took a taxi to Hongmei Park, first visited Tianning Temple, and experienced a bit of the fragrance of Buddhism. As the weather was clear, Hongmei Park was crowded, making the experience somewhat congested. 🌸🌳 Leaving the north gate, I came to Hongmei Market. Although the line for chicken cutlets was too long, I still bought a baba cake from a roadside stall as the finale of this gourmet exploration. 🎬
