National Series 101 Changzhou Dongpo Garden

🌈Historical background: It is said that Mr. Su Dongpo, a great literary man of the Northern Song Dynasty, came to Changzhou 11 times and died here. He once moored here by boat. The park is the place where Su Dongpo abandoned the boat and entered the city. Later in the Southern Song Dynasty, someone built a Yanzhou Pavilion in memory of Su Dongpo who died in Changzhou. The Yanzhou Pavilion is located on the top of the southern mountain in the garden. When Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he gave four poems and personally inscribed the plaque of 'Jade Bureau Style'. 🚗Highlights: National 4A level tourist attraction, the entire scenic area is composed of a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides and a half-moon island in the ancient canal. The two islands are connected by a Ming Dynasty ancient bridge, Guangji Bridge. Walking around the corridor in the park, it suddenly opens up, with lush trees, clear water and strange stones, presenting the style of our classical garden.
