Hakka Capital

Fujian Longyan City, Changting County, "Beautiful Tingzhou, the Capital of Hakka". It seems like everywhere claims to be the capital of Hakka; it's like South Africa, which has three capitals. During the Tang Dynasty, Fujian had five prefectures: Jianzhou, Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, and Tingzhou, which is how Fujian got its name. Changting is a national historical and cultural city, with the Southern Song Dynasty Wolong Academy (first four pictures), ancient city walls, etc. The last two pictures are of red cultural relics; Chairman Mao once stayed and drank well water here.
